Clara 

Carrara marble, 1 meter tall
Clara is a spiraling trefoil knot, shown from several very different angles. From one side it may look like a single spiral, from another like two. At certain viewpoints, even up and down seem to reverse. The flow of the form feels almost musical, measured, balanced, and continuous. This sculpture invites the viewer to notice how one shape can suggest many meanings, depending on how you look at it.
