Koos Fractal Tree

Mirror-polished stainless steel, 1.5 meters tall
This sculpture is based on a fractal tree design by my late mentor, Koos Verhoeff. Each branch is an identical form, scaled and oriented in its own unique direction in space, due to the simple rule that generates the fractal. It shows how simplicity in form and rule can unfold into beauty and symmetry across every scale. The work is a tribute to Koos, whose ideas and influence continue to shape my thinking and my practice.
