Koos Verhoeff
My mentor and father figure for over 30 years - Anton

Koos the Mathematics student
Koos chaired the committee that organized the MC Escher exhibit at the ICM in 1954 in Amsterdam.

Print Gallery
1956 MC Escher asked Koos for help with this work titled "Print Gallery."

Wiebelbak project
1979 - Anton and Koos were addicted to the maze automation project. The project drove a ball through a maze with 3 small computers.

Pythagorean Fractal Tree
1992 - Koos visited Anton in the USA to make the first fractal tree in bronze. Together Koos & Anton drove to SUNY Albany conference on Art and Mathematics to to show the Pythagorean fractal tree.

Koos in his study
The study where Anton practically grew up. Note the lattice structures hanging from the ceiling. Koos produced hundreds of designs in this study.

De zolder (the attic)
The attic above the study where Koos showed a small fraction of his work. Koos would invite visitors on a tour of the attic and explain the mathematical themes that can be found in his works.

De zolder (the attic)
Regullary a class of school students would visit the attic; garden and woodwork shop with Koos.

Koos and Tom Verhoeff
Tom Verhoeff has extensively written about Koos and Anton's Mathematical art.
