Boundaries and Openings in Red

Fence Around Nothing
An exploration of boundaries and absence, Fence Around Nothing challenges the concept of enclosure. Its vertical symmetry and dynamic path create a compelling interplay of solidity and void, inviting viewers to reflect: What are we fencing in? What are we fencing out? By defining space without confining it, the sculpture transforms emptiness into a striking presence.

The vivid red hue amplifies the sculpture’s energy, symbolizing vitality, boldness, and transformation. It serves as a reminder that boundaries, whether physical or metaphorical, can both protect and restrict, depending on how we choose to perceive them. Fence Around Nothing invites viewers to look closer, to move around it, and to consider how we define the spaces we occupy and the ones we leave untouched.

Portal of Possibilities (I - III)
These three portal-like sculptures embody a mesmerizing duality of perception: open from one angle, closed from another. Their forms explore the fluidity of perspective, echoing Plato’s Allegory of the Cave, where reality is not fixed but shaped by the observer’s viewpoint. As you move around these portals, sharp geometries shift into elegant symmetries, revealing new dimensions with every step.

The bold red hue intensifies their presence, evoking passion, energy, and the transformative power of perspective. Together, the portals act as gateways to introspection, encouraging viewers to reimagine what they see and consider the unseen connections between structure and space. They invite a deeper exploration of how openings in life—literal or metaphorical—can be both opportunities and boundaries, depending on where one stands. These portals are not just objects to be seen but experiences to be felt, engaging the mind and spirit.
